The Option of a small upper arm cuff/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had an older model of the Omron for many years. The only problem we had was that the upper arm cuff was too large for my wife's arm and we often recived error readings. Now, due to a medical change we needed something to correct for this. The 5 series upper arm montor was the perfect solution as it offers the option to use a small cuff (7-9 inches) or the regular size cuff. It has been wonderful to forget about error messages that occured frequently.

Accurate readings !

Cardiologist checked it out and said should get a new one, he
suggested an Omron. Now I have peace of mind knowing all the
BP readings are accurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Series 5 was purchased to replace an older, approximately 20 years, Omron Blood Pressure Monitor. It is much easier to operate and has proven accurate.

Not Accurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Omron 7 Series Upper Arm BP monitor to replace my older wrist monitor as I thought it would be more accurate. After taking my monitor to my Dr. Office and comparing readings in the office, it was found that the Omron readings were substantially higher (15 points higher) than the manual readings at the Dr. Office. I took all the correct steps, calling Omron, then submitting information via E-mail, then paying for shipping to their testing facility only to have it returned stating that the readings were within their specifications. Unfortunately, now it is too late to return the product, so it is now sitting in a box collecting dust as it is useless and I am back to using my trusty OLD wrist monitor which is much more accurate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
