pressure monitor with a cuff small enough (7) because my monitor no longer worked due to my physical deterioration shrinking me so much.to give a proper reading.Omron had the only monitor which would work on my size 7 width arm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an Omron 5 two months ago and I have now peace of mind as the blood pressure measurements are even more accurate than those obtained in a clinic because most patients and I am in this category tend to have higher readings due to well know "white coat hypertension". It is well know that the American Medical Association and several other professional societies are recommending patients obtain blood pressure measurements at home and share them with their doctors instead of measurements in the clinic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Omron 5 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor because my husband was issues with his blood pressure. I had to call an ambulance because his blood pressure had dropped significantly (90/60) by the time help arrived and took it. He was admitted to the hospital and so because of this incident, I thought it best to be able monitor his blood pressure at home. The Omron 5 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is quite accurate and super easy to use. I even use it for myself because there are settings for two people. It has given us comfort knowing we can check his blood pressure at any time, and know that it is accurate. I would highly recommend this product for every household!

This unit gave us readings 10 points higher with both the systolic and diastolic readings than what the doctors office got with their manual reading.
We cannot trust this monitor's readings. A complete waste of money for us. Very disappointed with the reliability of our brand new BP742N blood pressure monitor.

I received my monitor 10 days ago and am very pleased with it. I also ordered the small cuff for me and it's perfect, I also took it to my doctor's appt. and it matched his readings. Very satisfied with my purchase.
