Accurate & Easy to Use

I have been having a problem with low BP. My family doctor tol me to take my bp at least daily and more often when my symptoms showed up. I started this routine on June 2nd & am continuing now. However, since my BP is improving, I now take readings every 2 or 3 days. So far, I have used the machine more than 120 times (my heart doctor wants readings fom both arms), and am thrilled with its service. I highly recommend it withoutqualification.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My doctor suggested I get a blood pressure monitor. After looking at several models I chose my BP742N. I was told to take it with me to my doctor to make sure it was accurate by having the office take my pressure with their machine and then with mine. It was prefect. Now I am watching my diet and hoping to lower my pressure. With the help of my machine I am able to report to my doctor my daily pressure once a week. Thank you for making this dependable and easy to use machine.

Omron is the company my physician recommended for daily measurements of my BP. This series 5 model is the second monitor I have purchased and it was purchased to replace a model by another company which had begun to give me readings that were too high and were, therefore, useless in my on-going high blood pressure treatment plan. After using my Omron for approximately a year and a half, it consistently began to give me readings that were also always higher than at my physician's office. I know this because I now always bring my written BP log and my Omron cuff with me to my doctor appointments. Because of its inaccuracy, I sent the cuff back to Omron for adjustment, but when I used the recalibrated cuff at a recent Dr. appt., it still gave me a reading that was approximately 20 "points" higher than either the Dr.'s BP machine or manual cuff that were used that day to compare with my newly recalibrated Omron for its accuracy. Because of the inaccurate reading, I did some research and found that BP cuffs only last a couple of years before they start giving false readings. When this cuff works properly is is great and convenient, but if Omron's cuffs have only the normal life span of a couple of years use before they become unreliable, then I will start using their cheaper models and not worry about replacement costs when they become undependable.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it works very well. It's even "automagic" -- works automatically, without having to pump the bulb myself! (In fact, there IS no bulb!) I would highly recommend this product. Memory's great, too.

I have used many monitors, and this one is by far the best quality, most accurate. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to monitor their Blood Pressure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Suggested by her home care nurse, I purchased this to monitor my wife's BP while she's on a beta-blocker. I'm a gadget-guy so I "needed" the Bluetooth model to go with the App. It has performed flawlessly and with the needed accuracy. I was skeptical about battery life but it's been splendid, even with lots of use. I would highly recommend this model to anyone. I love that you can export the data from the app to a spreadsheet.
