Great back up and assistance for me~

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor about 8 months ago whenever I found out my cholesterol was borderline. The doctor was very concerned about my blood pressure, because it was extremely high every time he checked it. I knew it hadn't been at home from a former bp monitor I had.
I researched and found the Omron products have a very high rating in accuracy, so I purchased mine. As soon as I got it, I started monitoring my blood pressure twice a day until my next doctor appointment 2 weeks from that point. Once again, he took it, and it was really high, so I brought him my home monitoring printout sheet. He then wanted me to bring my blood pressure monitor the next time I came because he wanted to compare it with theirs for accuracy. It proved to be 100% accurate.
So, now every time I know I have an appointment, all I have to do is bring my blood pressure monitoring print out to my appointment. I love this, because he was convinced I was going have to be put on blood pressure medicine and go through tests to see what the cause was. Instead, he said I have what is called, "White coat syndrome."
Yes, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it!

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this blood pressure monitor because it is battery operated and has two settings where two different people can use it so my husband and I can both use it. I also like that it shows sys/dia/pulse all at the same time instead of having to change screens. It is very easy to use.

Easy to use, quiet and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My health care insurance provided me with a free one. I was so excited when my readings, although a bit high, were still acceptable. I took it to my doctor's and SURPRISE, the readings were way off. My BP was actually much higher. The doctor recommended Omron. Needless to say the "free" one went in the trash. I'm keeping much better track now and making diet changes.

excellent blood pressure monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Omron model BP742N blood pressure for about one year. It is easy to use and the readings are accurate. The readings are consistent with the ones I get at the doctor's office. It's an important tool in my blood pressure management regimen.

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Doctor advised me that the old monitor I was using was not providing accurate readings. He suggested a replacement an I purchased an Omron Monitor. Much to my surprise the reading I now am receiving is right on with those I receive when I get tested at my Dr. office. The storage of the reading is perfect and allows me to show my Dr. what is going on with my health. Easy to use, and not to large. A great buy for the price and a Very Accurate monitor.
