After one year it reads high.

I am a PhD experimental physicist and I know how technical measurements work. This unit with the HEM-FL31 cuff did read about 5 high when new, compared to the doctors office and pharmacy readings). Now after a year it reads up to 30 high.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't count on wireless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works fine in taking your blood pressure. But the wireless connection to the Omron app does not work reliably. At least, I have been unable to get the app to find the device consistently. I.e. the app finds the device at time X, but later it reports that the device cannot be found. I have wasted many hours trying to get the app to discover the device. Now I simply use the device as a stand-alone blood pressure monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent BP machine

The only problem is that I thought I ordered one with a form fitted cuff, not a D ring. When I called customer service theey don't make a cuff that is form fitted to order. I love the machine but disappointed I couldn't get a form fitted cuff as they are easier to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Omron 5 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor and am so glad I did. Now I can monitor my blood pressure daily instead of every 1-4 months at my doctor appointments. I had to get one because my readings were too high at previous visits and too low at my most recent visit. The monitor was so easy to get started and I don't need any assistance to operate. It takes about 3 minutes to complete and it's well worth every second for the reason that a daily monitoring will catch a problem sooner than monthly or more. I'd recommend this product to anyone who has blood pressure concerns for themselves or family members.

Will Not pair

Just opened the box and followed all the instructions.
When it came to pairing it would not pair.
I tried paring with a Samsung S3, iPhone 4, and Bluetooth on the computer, both Windows 8 and MacBook Pro. All of these were unsuccessful.
It take the blood pressure reading, but I bought this model to track that information without having to manually write it down.
