DO NOT BUY!

Omron was a great product with a great app (Omron Wellness). It had great charts, a web-based counterpart, just wonderful.
They upgraded to Omron Connect - only on your device (no web connectivity) The graphs are amateurish and uninformative. The only purpose of the app is not to monitor your blood pressure, but to make you buy and additional product, their new EKG sensor.
If you just want to measure you BP, buy something else. If you need to monitor your BP, Omron has made it impossible with their new app.
I have rarely gone from loving something to loathing something, but Omron succeed where others have failed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Readings too high..defective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared readings at my doctors office and confirmed that unit was defective. Ok, so stuff happens. BUT.NOW I had to pay $13 and change to ship it back! Disappointed I had to pay anything at all to ship back a brand new and defective unit. Replacement unit seems fine so far.

Take on Dr office visits to compare

I have had less than a month and taken it on 5 office visits in 3 different offices and each time I use it after they take my bp and each time my series 5 7250 has been 5-10 points higher on the SYSTOLIC number and 10-20 points higher on the DIASTOLIC number with the pulse being within 5 points. The unit always shows higher which is a problem when you are being evaluated for a stroke with an average BP of 150/90 and the readings come up 160/110, that is a huge change. It seems that for people who need the accuracy, that is people with issues, it will always show higher which you don't want to have that lead you to always subtract numbers and think you are fine. The trend seems to be the higher the BP goes, the more inaccurate it becomes so be aware of this. For someone like my wife who has normal BP 120/70 it appears to be within 3-5 points on both numbers so if BP is not a concern, it seems to be accurate. I will say it is the 3rd type I have tried and it is the most accurate one of those 3 so my overall rating is that it not accurate but close enough if you need to have an idea on your BP. I suggest you do the same test at the Dr office I have done to verify your unit.

Easy to Use

I have been using my cuff for 2 yrs now to help me manage my blood pressure while working a highly stressful job. The machine is very easy to use. The screen is easy to read and the memory function helps me track progress in managing my stress. This was well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Still With Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our first Omron about 20 years ago and used it routinely.Then March 31, 2016, my wife passed away. It seemed our old Omron after many daily uses for all the years needed replacement. Now as I sit with cuff on upper arm awaiting reading, I remember my wife doing the same thing and my blood pressure is under control.

Inconsistentcy with getting readings with error me

Very disappointing

Bought in August and the readings are already way off. No way to calibrate it. No AC adapter included. Waste of money for a serious heath issue.

So easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for over 5 months. It is so easy to use and I can track my blood pressure over a month or over 120 days. My Dr had me bring it in to compare with his office measuring blood pressure and it was right on. So this made him more confidant in what I reported. My old unit was so cumbersome and inaccurate and always seemed to be needing a redo -it was from someone else -And so hard to get on.
this Omron is so well designed that there is no struggle putting it on. Being able to download the readings to my iphone means I can always review with my Dr with out having a paper list of readings. I think anyone using a blood pressure monitor should throw out the old and buy this.
I would recommend this to a friend!
