Replacing a Lockly with screen failure

Excellent concept only issue is the screen fails with long exposure to UV (sunlight). The new version comes with a cover to prevent this. The Peek Proof keypad is a brilliant idea and the fingerprint recognition is convenient. The secure setup is excellent with ability to remotely allow access and provide time based entry codes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful Security Solution

After online research I purchased this lock.
It’s great. From the moment it arrived in Apple-like packaging it was pure quality. The build is excellent, and the instructions clear, if a bit complex.
After carefully reading the instructions several times, I removed the old lock, and this new lock was a perfect fit replacement, so no wood work was required!
Dray-assemble everything first and test it works before the fix it all into position. I had a couple of minor alignment issues, and I managed to put the handle on such that you could not open the door… which confused me. Turned out I had the spindle 90-degrees out of position. Removed it, rotated it, and everything worked perfectly.
Minor issues getting the wifi and app working as this lock comes with a wifi connector which can only use older wifi standards. We have a wifi 7 mesh system in our house and could not connect to the unit… Wish they told you this in the online specification!
Thankfully I had an old wifi router laying around which I powered-up, reconnected by wire to our system, and then connected this wifi to the lock… This then all worked perfectly.
The app is great to use, and adding fingerprints is easy.
This is a very well made, very satisfying to use quality smart lock.
Would recommend to anyone seeking this style of door lock. Very happy with the purchase.
