Great Product if you have smart home related products

works well not only for the router itself but works great with all smartthings sensors, Ring, Ecobee thermostat and Wi-Fi bulbs.
Pros: Inexpensive

Wi-Fi for Family Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family of 4 who always seem to be connected to the internet (for everything), this Wi-Fi extender makes our lives so much easier. The set up took all of 10 minutes and we were getting our house and our gadgets connected. All 4 of us have tablets and smartphones that are connected as well as multiple gaming systems and desktops, this extender made it easier and faster than ever to keep everyone up and running at all times. We were even able to extend out to our second garage! That makes my workouts so much easier because I can distract myself with a video, lol. I love this product and highly suggest it for other connected families.

Very Weak Signal Strength - Don’t Buy

i have a fairly small townhouse with one hub per floor. even with 3 hubs in a small house, there is still many dead zones with very steep drop offs. there is parts of my house where i get 100mbps, two steps in one direction i get 10 and then one more step i get 0.1.
i wish i had returned immediately as theyre very expensive and worse than using the stock router that was provided by isp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cant believe all that this can do. Full WiFi control with smart home all in one. I got the 3 unit setup and cant be happier. One of my big concerns going with something is will it be able to reach my garage which for my house layout is far. well with the 3 units its was not a problem. I have WiFi and Smart control in my garage with no issues. The Samsung Connect and Smart Things apps made the setup very easy along with provides great functionality.

Failure to Support makes this a waste off money

i bought this as a mesh and smarthub solution. it was not cheap. then samsung discontinues and forces me to not only buy something else but reconfigure devices, networks, etc..
nice! i have three samsung tvs, refrigerator, and dishwasher that i bought.
this is the last samsung product i will ever buy. if it is obsolete in less than 2 years after you buy it the company is not reputable or reliable.

It's a good idea with very bad implemention

So far the WiFi works fine, the built-in SmartThings hub just doesn't work as expected. Devices go offline intermittently, the automations work intermittently, not something to trust for any type of security when it can't be trusted to work all the time.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Great product, easy set up

I purchased this as a hub between my Echo and smart locks. It works great. It was literally plug and play. I intend to use it as a hub for all of my smart home items. At least until I can convince my wife to buy the new Galaxy Home.

Can not extend existing wifi network

if you have comcast xfinity with an existing wifi network, you will not be able to extend that network. the setup software does not allow you to connect to wifi. you have to connect with a cable directly to a router. it makes absolutely no sense that a wifi device cannot connect to wifi. the mobile app for setting up the router does not give you the option to extend an existing network. carelessly designed without the end user in mind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
