Broken less than 2 months after buying

On the face of it this is a very functional little laptop for casual use, like many Chromebooks. However, after less than 2 months the device has stopped working and will not power on no matter how I try. Very disappointing as I had a previous Asus Chromebook that lasted many years. Avoid this Chromebook.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
