Fantastic Lens, my very favorite - So Far!

My new favorite lens
The LUMIX G Series LEICA 12mm F1.4 Lens H-X012 is on my G9M2 almost all of the time.
It is well balanced on my camera body and a joy to shoot with. I get very consistent shots even in near total darkness indoors and outside.

It is very well suited for city photos and indoor gatherings. I won’t go into the specifications you can read them on your own. This lens has my highest number of “keeper” photos of any lens I own.
It is fast, relatively light, and very well built. I keep discovering new things that I like about it. Last night, I “discovered” the manual aperture ring. It is brilliant and makes it even easier to use and manage without changing settings on the camera body. My prior experience with manual aperture is on manual focus vintage lenses. (now I want the ring on all my lenses). It is cool that it feeds the setting back to the camera as well.
This lens has pushed me to rethink my entire lens collection, and I am now moving to all prime lenses. The performance is that good.
Keep up the great work Panasonic / Lumix / Leica !
