Nice oven but the bugs need to be worked out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this double wall oven to replace our last GE oven. It fit nicely in the space. Features are wonderful and it bakes very well. The only issue we’ve had is that a few times per day, the oven beeps like someone selected a function by itself (with no one touching it). It then beeps again in about 30 seconds because the start button wasn’t selected and turns off. It actually could turn on by itself if this happens quickly on its own. I contacted support and they plan to send a technician, but I don’t want parts replaced on a brand new oven. I would like a replacement shipped ASAP.

Sets off smoke alarms every time when broiling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had hoped this oven would cure the problem of setting off smoke alarms but it is much worse now, even after steam clean. Venting inside is a bad idea.

Hello, Student t! Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your concerns. Broiling is direct heat cooking and will produce some smoke. If smoke is excessive, place food further away from the element. previously has a frigidaire double oven. OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. Oven burns everything that is put into it. Have to constantly monitor cooking. It's not set and forget. Oven controls don't work properly. Pushing timer changes cook temp. Sometimes when pushing timer on/off you can set timer, but it displays a different number you put in. This is very frustrating. Thinking about returning it.

Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this brand new and had it installed. The first time i used it the oven started giving me error codes. It only works when it wants to. I can’t get connected with an agent on the phone to come look at it. So currently I have a brand new oven that doesn’t work.

Many issues

This oven, while looking great and loaded with features, is just awful. The temperature doesn’t hold to the setting and the control panel is extremely difficult!

Scared at this point

Problem is that they are 4 months old and had to have a service tech come out and replace the fan already. I'll hold judgement for a few more months to see if this was a one time thing or a preveiw of problems to come

Error code the first time used!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I chose Frigidaire appliances for our new house because they are an old trusted brand and their appliances are made in North America. We also liked the look and thought they would be very functional. The first time I turned the oven on, (to burn out the new smell) it heated up for a while, then shut off with an error message. The repair is scheduled for two weeks from now, we hope it was an isolated incident and that it will be great once fixed. Things can happen in transit, I am sure, but this has not inspired confidence. After checking online, this error code appears to have happened to a few people.
