Wild Temperature fluctuations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a home baker who must depend on a dependable oven every single day. I bought this oven, hoping to increase production & save time simultaneously. Unfortunately, neither oven rises to the proper temperatures on a dependable/consistent level (usually anywhere between 10 & 25 degrees lower). In very infrequent instances, one or the other oven WILL come to temp, but never together. I have found that using both ovens simultaneously, really throws either oven off to a point where it may be 50 degrees too low. I have contacted Fridigaire, who set up a local appliance tech to come out, yet when he called, he expressly told me that I better be 100% sure that it's the oven because they would charge me for the service call even though I've only had it for a month. Since I couldn't get consistent test temps., I expressed my concern so he never showed up. I would have been better off getting two individual wall units as I can not depend on this one for my home business.

"Beeps" constantly and arrived broken

Firstly, our oven beeps constantly, with messages that the lower oven is going to "self-clean". After a few seconds, it beeps again and the message goes away. This can happen several times an hour.
A repairman took the front control panel off, and it was broken. Who ever assembled the oven had to know it was broken, so, POOR quality control. Repairman ordered new control panel and motherboard. A week later, he installed both and said it was fixed.
Nope. Still beeping with messages.
Now he's ordered MORE parts, and we get to wait another week before he can come out again. In the meantime, it was suggested that we turn off the breaker going to the oven in case it does decide to follow through with it's own message to self-clean. We turn the breaker on when we want to use the oven. For a month now, we have an oven that sounds like a smoke detector that needs a new battery. BEEP!!!

Amazing!

Love this oven!

It is my first convection oven and I love using this feature, everything bakes so evenly. I can bake two pans of cookies in one oven and they come out perfect. I also use the bread proofing feature and love it.

Love the Preheat feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this now for six months, and used it fairly frequently, especially from spending more time at home. It took a couple of weeks to get used to not having a broil feature - with 3 levels of cooking - but then we realized the "preheat oven" feature actually worked better than broil. We love it!

I would never purchase this again

Does cook evenly. Had it since Christmas and now getting error code F045. The timer is annoying and when I go to add a minute of time, I instead some how get the oven turned off. You have to do things in a squence, and when you are just trying to add 1 or 2 minutes to a timer it is hard to to remember to stop, start, timer, minutes, start. And why does doing that turn off the oven if I miss a step? I do a lot of cooking and I do not like this oven at all. Been married 37 years and can honestly say this is one of my least favorite appliances we have ever purchased.

When adding additional minutes, try using the “Add 1 Min” feature to set additional minutes to the timer. Each press of the key will add 1 additional minute. For further details about this feature, please review page 14 of your model’s “Use & Care” guide.
An F45 error code typically means your upper oven cooling fan speed is too low. I recommend checking for any blockage along with revisiting your wall oven’s installation instructions.

Cooks Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven to replace a single oven and microwave combination. Only slight modifications had to be made to the cabinet for the double ovens to fit in the existing space. We also had an electrician to come and increase the existing 20 amp breaker to 50 amp, although only 40 amp was required. I enjoy the oven. It cooks well. I like having the digital control panel, although I have noticed that it is very sensitive to touch and will turn on accidentally with the wipe of a cloth. Because a beep sounds, I am able to address that quickly. The control panel on the double oven is high enough that it is not easy access for small children. When using the convection bake, it seems to take a long time to come up to temperature. I am still experimenting with that. At this point, I am completely satisfied with the oven. I purchased this oven because I have owned Frigidaire double ovens in the past and have been satisfied with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying that I am a professional chef. This is my home oven. I try no to hold it to unrealistic standards, but have have a reference point of professional grade equipment. I have had my 30"double wall oven now for around a month now. Our old oven died, not a frigidaire, and my wife and I decided to purchase this oven. It was a good choice over all. For the price this oven is great! Starting on the outside, the oven looks great. I did have some slight fitting issues as my old oven seems to have been a little taller, but wood shims were included with the oven which helped. The touch screen and display is nice, but can have a hard time detecting my finger touches and isnt as sensitive as I would like. This is a minor complaint, I can always get what ever I need done, done fairly easily. The inside of the oven is very nice and the racks are very smooth sliding. Cooking is very even, and preheat is fast for a home oven. I have not used the internal thermometer probe yet, but it is a nice feature. Also, this oven is very quite. This is a great feature as our old oven was fairly loud compared to this one. Makes conversation in the kitchen area much easier. In contrast to the quite operation, the alarms and timer are loud enough to hear from other rooms, but not obnoxious. This is also a overlooked but very nice feature. Our old oven's alarms and timer were so quite I wouldn't realize it was preheated if I was doing other things. Overall I like this oven and happy with my purchase. It would be five stars if the touch screen worked better and the fitment was easier. However for an oven with some great features, excellent cooking, and nice styling, you can't beat this oven for the price.
