Big and simple to use this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it just before Thanksgiving when the 15yr. old Bosch gave out. Slightly larger than the Bosch but was able to get it in with some cabinet adjustments. Both turkeys came out great and the meat probe is great. Looks beautiful in the kitchen too.

Save just in time for the holidays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our oven failed just before Thanksgiving. The repair contractor said the replacement parts were not available until late January. 12 people coming for dinner on Thanksgiving, plus Christmas and New Year's with no oven. My wife went into panic mode. Frigidaire came through. As the parts were not readily available for the holiday seasons, they replaced the oven with a new unit. It was installed the day before our guest arrived.

Main reason I picked this over another was the size. Some other models and brands would require modifications of my cabinets. This one fit beautifully. So far I have no complaints. Works well and looks great!

Great Updates!

The first thing we noticed was the message on the fllor of each oven, "Do not place aluminum foil on bottom surface". This is exactly why replaced our previous model. Well meaning hubs... I really like all the new convection settings, the handles on all oven racks, and the probe thermometer in the top. Oven may be a bit louder than our previous model, but nothing to be concerned about. The oven is a bit larger than my previous model, too, which is terrific. But the fact that Fridgidare guarantees all their oven will fit in the same cut out is what sold me. Hubs was able to install himself. Connecting three wires and a some muscle is all it requires.

DO NOT BUY

If I could give it 0 stars I would. We have had these ovens for approximately 6 weeks and have had issue after issue. They worked great for 5 days and then completely shut off within 90 seconds if turning on with an error code. Took 3 weeks to get a circuit board, which didn’t fix the issue. Now we need a new fan assembly, which takes another week to get in stock. Frigidaire support made me an appointment for which I took off work and the tech never showed up. Stay away from this brand.

Disappointing to say the least!!

After waiting months, my double ovens were finally installed in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. From the start the fans were way too loud and after only using them a few times, I started receiving an error code and they stopped working altogether!! It is now February and I am stuck waiting on a new fan. My husband had to buy me a small countertop oven just so I can bake meals for our family! How embarrassing to have double ovens that look nice, but are currently a worthless money sucker!! I will think twice before purchasing another Frigidaire oven. :-(

Used 5 times and broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven broke after 5 time using. It is bad. The motherboard needed replacement including a few other pieces. To top it off,it took about 3.5 weeks to have the oven fixed. I even had to track down parts for the subpar company contracted to repair. I have other appliances that are Frigidaie and I am very unhappy. Dishwasher does not clean, refrigerator is not consistent in temperature. I contacted customer service. We were told to put dishes in dirty, dont rinse and turn refrigerators temp up. Neither worked. It doesnt seem Frigidaire cares about quality just turn out a subpar product for a quick buck. Very sad this appears to be their business plan

We do recommend, for the dishwasher, the continued use of a rinse aid. Also, please confirm that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to assure proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Lastly, run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line.

disappointed

I recently replaced all of my kitchen appliances and went with Frigidaire because of the smudge proof finish, which I love. I am so disappointed in the double ovens because they don't have time bake. You can delay the start time, but you cannot enter an end time for the ovens to shut off. My 20+ year old KitchenAid double ovens could do this, so I think this is a huge step back in today's technology.
