Filter problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this KitchenAid ice maker to replace a 14 year old KitchenAid. The older model did not have a built in filter and worked fine until it failed. The new model has failed twice in 2 months due to the filter. It operates ok without the filter but not as good as my old model did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 10+ year old prior KitchenAid unit that we loved. So far so good! This is not an inexpensive appliance, but it is quiet and makes a high volume of clear, clean ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great ice, a little loud

Faulty switch?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had issues with Power Switch! It is a great looking appliance and the ice is fantastic ! Twice we have had to go through a reset when the machine stopped working. Tried to call service and it was after hours. I was able to find a reset vid on YouTube

Have to have ice maker
