Had no choice

I called due to the water freezing. Was told that I had to purchase a new one because the thermostat was welded to the water tank. I am a tech, forked over the money. When the new unit arrived, I disassembled the old one. I was lied to. It was not welded, actually the NTC that monitors the cold slips into a tube that is welded. They could have easily sold me an NTC or a board and have me make the decision. Not happy with this deceptive practice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front panel not aligned

The front panel was not aligned just taped and needed to be redone by removing the top screws. Also, the bottom door has no upper hinge or metal protrusion to snap the door, and cannot be pivoted to open and shut. The back inlet pipe does not go in at all!

We love this water cooler. Our city water taste horrible and this was a welcome to have to start drinking more water daily.
