Excellent sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is great. The bass feature has two levels of improvement, which is awesome.
I love the color of the lights; however, I would add the possibility of choosing my favorite colors.
Another recommendation would be to give the chance to use two microphones and the guitar. In this version you can plug in another microphone instead of the guitar though.
The price is great for the quality of product you receive.

Bigger and Better than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The partybox 200 has more features than I'll use on a regular basis, but it's really cool. I think it'd definitely be useful for anyone who does traveling DJing (even outdoors).or even someone who does wedding ceremonies would appreciate the quality, loudness and quick setup of this system and could use the microphone jack provided. Overall, I look forward to using my Partybox much more throughout the future.

So excellent, I don't know where to start!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I call the JBL PartyBox 200 our new "family member," because it is already becoming an integral part of our daily life! The sound is top-notch and crystal clear, and when I play a live album (conveniently via Bluetooth from my phone) it literally sounds like we're at the concert. Though a little heavy at just over 33 lbs, it's very portable especially because of the handle on top, and being around1x1x2, we can bring the party wherever we go. It fits great in the corner so even when we're not using it, it isn't in the way but is always "ready to go." My kids have a blast with the music and lights going, and every night becomes a dance party! We haven't tried the mic input yet, but that's next on the agenda so we can have Karaoke parties! Over all, love this speaker and look forward to using it for years to come! My voiced opinions are 100% my own.

The only thing I can say is WOW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the time I un-boxed it, the time I started playing music, and even now, every time I use this Party Box, I just say WOW! It has tons of volume, a really cool light show, and a very solid design. JBL has really out done themselves with this device. There are a ton of input options like RCA inputs, microphone and guitar inputs, and an AUX input. Not to mention that it also does bluetooth. One thing I did not know until unboxing the PartyBox is that you can actually use it as a two channel mixer! It has tons of Bass and it can be adjusted with the Bass Boost button. It also comes with a really long cord that you can use to power it from your car! They really have thought of everything with this speaker. The only cons that I have are that, if you are not sitting directly in front of it, it can sound a little muffled. It has plenty of clarity, but the clarity only comes if you are directly in front of it. It does have an auto shut off which it can be nice if you are powering it from your car and don't want to kill the battery, however, if it is plugged in, it would be nice to have it stay on. Other than those few negatives, this device is well worth it. Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smaller Bluetooth speakers are great for many occasions, but this PartyBox brings things to an ENTIRELY NEW LEVEL - tremendous volume and bass driver power, audio quality is top notch, lighting spectacles that match bass tracks (3 settings, plus off) are a great and the unit is very durable. The PartyBox brings the power and experience where the smaller speakers simply cannot deliver what is needed.
The PartyBox will blow the roof off the house, or provide great volume and quality to any outside event. Honestly, I didn't even know I needed this thing, but it is a great addition to my audio hardware.
While a bit heavy, the unit is equipped with two sturdy handles for easy carrying. Hookup is super easy ... standard Bluetooth, a single power cord for standard outlet, or separate cord for power direct from your car.
Beyond excellent Bluetooth, I plugged in my acoustic guitar and Les Paul electric guitar. I was able to rip solo and over tracks that were playing.
This thing rules ... entirely over delivers!!

Invest in Fun!

Big warm full sound. 3 levels of bass from flat to "why are my teeth shaking?". 3 lighting schemes let you see what you're hearing. Or turn them off, she's pretty either way. Clean sound even at higher volumes.
Super portable and durable with rubberized carrying handles on the back, a detachable power cord, and hard plastic grills on the side (with rubberized feet). A second power cord for you car's cigarette lighter/accessory port means the party's to go, from camping to throwing down cardboard and breakdancing on the sidewalk.
Plentiful input options from bluetooth, 3.5mm aux, RCA ports, USB flash drive playback, and 6.3mm plugs for guitar and mic channels. I recommend getting a mic for this, they aren't much online and having the option to mix in with your music adds another element to the party. It's my own mini-PA :)
Setup/pairing is a breeze, and lighting/bass/volume/bt buttons are straightforward. I had this thing singing straight out the box before opening the instructions. Once setup it powers on in about 20 seconds between powering on and pairing.
Cons:
- wall power cord is kinda short. But car cord is quite long.
- no app support, which kinda feels like old tech. In exchange you get big sound, guitar/mic inputs, and durability. I feel like this will last due to its simplicity
- I couldn't get USB playback to work. But I could get it to charge my phone while also paired on bluetooth with minimal fiddling around.

- Even when horizontal there is a proper orientation. You want the buttons on the right.
- Great for kids! My son (7) loves it and burns a ton of energy dancing with the lights. Plus the microphone.
