The battery life is only lasting 5 days when there is a lot of activity, if you reduce the PIR sensitivity then the camera is not picking up in the zone coverd it needs to be set at Med as a minimum.

Broken in a month

I purchased about a month ago and mounted about 3m above ground onto my garage. It’s broken where the tubular plastic holds the ball joint and the camera is just hanging down. I’m not impressed with plastic. Because the camera is so good, I have to get another mounting bracket.

Outdoor Mounting Stand

I bought the outdoor stands as they are stronger and much more secure than the standard mounts. I had already purchased the cameras from Bunnings which were very easy to attach to the mounts. The APP is a little slow getting the image but that may be because we only have ADSL Internet at the moment. I expect NBN will be faster when that is connected later this month.

Mounting bracket good. Cameras horrible

The mounting bracket is the only thing that worked liked it was suppose to. The cameras failed right out of the box. Even after working with tech support and buying a range extender, the cameras leave a lot to be desired. The techs need to go back to the drawing board. They can start with the cameras I returned.

Solid mount

The magnetic mount/base that comes standard is great for indoors, but you need something fixed when used outdoors. This does the trick, easy to punt and adjust, but can be locked down so leaves and strong winds don’t move the camera.

I purchased the camera stand to hopefully attach to the ceiling but it appears that the stand is only suitable for walls as it doesn't allow the camera to be pushed back far enough because the back of the camera hits the vertical section of the stand.The product is advertised as suitable for walls and ceilings?
