Doesn't stand up

I usually love Melissa and Doug toys and these are cute, but they don't stand up. They keep falling over even when I attempt to prop them up against each other. The ball is also too light to knock all the pins down or go far. This is only good as a stuffed animal because the monsters are cute.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
