I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson. He has had so much fun setting up the pins and throwing the ball at them (not a great bowler yet, but that's okay). He treats them as stuffed animals too, and plays with them. The quality and craftsmanship of this game are very high. I love the bright colors and very creative faces!!

this is a favorite of my 2 1/2 yr old son. He cries when I put it away. Actually, all of his favorite toys come from melissa and doug!

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas as he is getting very active. He was just short of 2 years old. Due to his age the idea of bowling was not really understood but he laughed and sure enjoyed the game of knocking down the little monsters for the few minutes it caught his attention. Instead of setting them back up I discovered he would rather pick them up and carry the little monsters around with him for now. One goes on car trips regularly. I think the "game" will come later and for now they are just fun, colorful companions. I would judge it a successful toy for multiple ages based on his enjoyment now with bowling activity to come when he is a bit older. They are adorable and well stitched and I think will hold up for a long time. The plastic zippered case will likely be the weakest component.
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Easy to use, Fun

The pins don't stand. The ball is so soft it doesn't roll. This is more like stuffed animals.

My grandchildren live in Canada...their winters are long and they need lost of indoor entertainment. This is a fun set for parent and child to play together with. Teaches child to share and waiting turns...great first game.
