HP has a serious ink cartridge supple chain issue and cannot keep up with demand. The printer and ink work great, but going without ink for a month at a time is a reflection at a company that can’t get supply planned properly.
The first time I’ve had a problem. I love my printer & am happy with your instant ink program. But this time the ink cartridge was leaking. I desperately needed the yellow so I cleaned it off & installed it. Overall no big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello,
I was saddened to hear you got a cartridge that leaked. It is unfortunate that happened, but I'm glad you were able to work with it.
You must carefully unwrap this type of cartridge. While leaking is more common with refills, it can also happen with a damaged or defective cartridge.
A vent near the cartridge label will normally be opened when the tab is pulled completely loose, and the outer plastic covering is removed from around the cartridge. That vent needs to be open to prevent the cartridge from leaking when you twist off the orange tab prior to installing the cartridge. On a defective cartridge, you might have to clear the vent with a straight pin to avoid any leaking.
If that happens when you are not in such need, you can contact us for a replacement.
After trying for over a month trying to get this yellow cartridge finally got one and this completes my set of replacement cartridges so I can start printing in color again. Hope this one lasts longer than the start up ones!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this before Christmas, when I did get the package was flatten but the cartridge was not broken, hope it works. But great price..
