Love Melissa and Doug, but this one has some flaws

Absolutely love Melissa and Doug toys, and we have many. We were given this tool boxas a gift and just loved it. However, the bolts as well as the hammer have fallen apart. I have had to repair them all (ready enough with some wood glue, just wish it wouldn't happen. We have a plan toys wooden hammer that we've had longer and has seen more use and abuse and is still in one piece. I have seen other reviews about the bolts and hammer and hope it's something being looked into. If you purchase, might be good to have some wood glue on hand. It's a fabulous toy and our son loves it, when it's not in mom Mcstuffins clinic for repairs....

Purchased tool kit for our 13 month old Grandson.He likes to stick his fingers in holes. Tool kit holes are much safer. Learning hand/eye coordination, how to grip, grasp and utilize the hammer, wrench & screwdriver. Melissa & Doug are the industry standard for Girl & Boy powered toys. Children need time to use their imaginations while discovering their ABBA FATHER gifts, talents & abilities. What better way exists than toys that inspire? Intentional, present in the moment, time playing together as our Grandson desires. Best investment ever!!!
