I ordered a maker bundle on June 24th, I received it over a week later. The sticky was good, for a little while, but not nearly long enough to what my expectations were. How do you expect people to buy new mats every week? Also when I was removing paper like I have been explained to remove the mat and not the paper, the mat cracked in half...... Not impressed! The fabric grip was even worse....

I recently ordered the maker + the bundle and my light grip mat only last a few weeks. when using the scrapping tools the adhesive stuck to them.
I will try the standard grip but these mats cost too much not to last longer! We need a better solution!

This board is the only thing that works with your cricut. When I first bought my cricut I did not know that a board would come with it so I bought a thick board thinking that I cut on it. I tried cutting on this board and the blade went right through and I tossed it maybe a foot in front of me and it broke.

No issues, wash with dawn and hot water when it needs to be cleaned and it is like new. I prefer this mat over standard grip.

My husband bought a Cricut maker for my birthday. This blue light grip mat came with the bundle. I used it to make birthday cards (3 total) and some Christmas cards (5 total) and this mat already not sticking. I have cleaned with a non alchohol wipe and it helped a little but not after making another card its not sticking again. I'm sad that the quality is so poor.

Perfect for cardstock & paper!

The light grip mats are amazing for cardstock and paper. I've used mine repeatedly for my cardstock projects, rotating all four corners. However, I don't recommend using them when working with glitter cardstock or any other heavier material. The glitter gets all over the mat and reduces the adhesive stick. The LightGrip mat does exactly what it is supposed to.

Best mat for paper cutting

No idea why these mats are getting such poor reviews as I've had and used mine for over a year for multiple projects, several of which were large, layered paper projects. But have also used for vinyl. Everything sticks well, but not too much. I recently received several of the green standard mats and lost several beautiful pieces of cardstock trying to remove. I'll replace when needed with the same Blue lightgrip mat. btw, why on earth is someone posting a negative review for their own ignorance in trying to use this as a cutting mat?

I have had my maker for several years and I am still using this original mat. It has just recently started to lose its stickiness. This is my favorite mat of all. Seeing bad reviews, I am not sure if the newer mats have been redone and changed the stickiness to them, but mine has been super sticky from day one, and it is used a lot! I wipe it clean often with a baby wipes, and air dry before placing the plastic sheet on.
