Just bought the EOS RP today. It's been amazing so far. The auto eye tracking is hands down worth it. The low light features are top notch. The tech and features are I huge step up from my T6

This camera although lacking technical specs in comparison to others in the market proved to be just as, if not more powerful. Especially for the price you are paying for it.
Quality of image is sufficient and more.
Price is sufficient.
Videography is not the absolute greatest, but for the intended demographic this is marketed for, it is unparalleled to other “beginner” cameras.
Yes, other brands have bodies that may perform better, but at the cost of price, and of user ability.
Overall this is a phenomenal purchase to make

Compact yet powerful

I bought my EOS RP about 2 weeks ago. I love the more compact and lighter weight size compared to my 7D yet still it has powerful features. Learning the control buttons and dials has been a smooth process with a reasonable layout so I can quickly control my shooting parameters by feel. It is a very quiet camera.
I find there is a slight delay in the eyepiece screen turning on which makes shooting a sudden opportunity a little challenging but the rapid focus and quick shutter help mitigate that issue. I have a Tamron 18-300mm zoom which works well on the adapter mount although the sensor is so large that I get some image cutoff at the periphery. Battery life seems short compared to my 7D.
