If I knew how to use it, it might be excellent

Being new to tablets or even smart phones, had there been any instructions for begginner users I might have rated this higher but since I can't use the blasted thing it isn't much good to me.
Also, could Samsung have printed the serial number any smaller? I can't imagine there is a smaller font available. For vision impaired, even strong magnifiers didn't help much.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: lack of instructions and hard to find on-line.

As a parent, this product is kid friendly and easy to use. This product can replace the laptop and computer industry easily. We went to the store soon after it released and already have it at home.
When I got my Galaxy Tab 10.1, I was a little concerned that I might be getting the wrong thing because everyone else was getting the OTHER tablet. Well, I had nothing to worry about. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 blows that OTHER tablet away. It is simply AMAZING!
I love my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 I just got it for christmas, but it is the tab that I have wanted for a while, since the Tab 1 was announced. As soon as I booted it up the first time I was already in awe of the features and speed. It never lags, runs games, music, and movies fast and very smoothly, and I can install all the latest software and apps without the slightest bit of hassle. Great product, definately recommend it.
I have to say that this tablet is amazing and offers alot,....when it works that is. This device has made me think twice about Samsung products, it's bad for quality reputation.
-The external sd card is useless, tab does not recognize content 90 percent of the time and corrupts the sd card once a week. Leaves LOST DIRECTORY file and weird files onto card that show signs of system issues. -Kies is useless for mac, connection is rarely made, and disconnects in errors most of the time. Features are no way near quality software of other devices. -Ram manager cannot manage anything, device lags non-stop with minimal use.
I loved the Tab 2 before I encountered the issues with using an external micro SDHC card, please try to fix this as it is a MAJOR issue for a media tablet restricted to 16GB (11 for actual use) internal memory.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, external sd card limitations, external sd card corruption, not a multitasking device, kies is useless, slow and laggy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's sad that the first Galaxy tab 10.1 is better than this. The 1280×800 resolution isn't of good quality, pictures and text look pixelated. The cameras are really bad quality. Worst of all, the processor, the 1 ghz dual core processor is really bad, I have a galaxy S3, with a 1.5 ghz dual core snapdragon S4, a tablet has to be stronger than a smartphone because it's handling a bigger screen, and since the first galaxy tab 10.1 had a tegra 2 I would of expected a tegra 3.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, weak processor
