We are a few weeks in with the LG and we love it. It is quiet, great storage areas. My only criticism would be the oft quoted "it is too dark in the back". Come on LG, light that big pretty frig up in the back areas!

The lack of lighting on the top portion of the inside leaves the top shelf very dark and every time I go in there I wonder why the light isn't working.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of space, inside water dispenser is what we had to have. The only model available in top freezer near us was this one in stainless. Wished it came in white or a stainless that didn't show every touch. Stainless surface is easy to wipe but does show touches. Refrigeration is perfect. Locked in on perfect temperature according to my thermometer. Shelves are movable but not pull out so you can rest water bottles while filling. Lighting is nice and bright enough. Filtered water taste is good. Room on door storage is spacious. Happy to get it same day as old one quit, but not thrilled about appearance. It is energy star saving costing about $60 per year to operate according to label. Customer service was easy and helpful with installation issues and filter part number.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is taking some time to adjust from the LG French Door Bottom Freezer that we had for 12 years to this new refrigerator/freezer. But, since the other only lasted 12 years we were not going to spend an arm and a leg for our next refrigerator/freezer. There is plenty of space in both the refrigerator and in the freezer. The ice maker has been on 24/7 since we bought it with no complaints at this time. The inside water dispenser is nice but, I don't like keeping the frig open to get a glass of water. Overall we like this unit however, there are two complaints: first the lights in the refregerator are in front so there is no light in the back to see what you are looking for and second almost everytime I go to the produce drawer I end up hitting my head on the freezer door evern though the door is closed. Would I buy this unit again? Yes but, I sure hope I don't have to anytime in the near future.

My wife had just gotten out of the hospital after an accident so she wasn’t able to tell me too much about features she wanted, so I bought this one for a few reasons. One, I knew she wanted the stainless look. Two, it was the largest size that I could fit. Three, I liked the idea of ice and water. Disappointments: 1) you can’t put a magnet on the front, plastic? 2) water dispenses slowly and door has to be open while filling cup. 3) shelves are flimsy, my old whirlpool had adjustable metal racks, these you can see flexing when you add a couple gallons of weight. 4) finish shows finger prints and smudges that even cleaners leave behind. I’ve even tried glass cleaner. Anyone have a solution to this? 5) I’m not going to use water because it’s too slow, now it’s just in the way. I do however LOVE having the ice maker. 1st one I’ve ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because my prior LG quit, and couldn't be fixed. Although it was partially under warranty, I needed a part that wasn't available to make it work. My 2 biggest knocks on this model is it needs a top refrigerator light and the water dispenser is ridiculous. Other than that, it's basic. The only reason we bought something so basic was because an LG Service Tech told us it's the most reliable type. That's it, the only reason. After having two previous expensive LG refrigerators just quit, we opted for basic. Do we like it, No. Are we hoping it'll be trouble free, Yes. It's sad but true, two appliance technicians (including LG's) have told us all appliances are junk now. Doesn't matter what you buy, but you're best to stay as simple as possible. So we took his advice and we did.
