These were relatively easy to assemble but one of the chairs had a fixed part slightly out of alignment - one of the under seat rails. I had to recruit my husband and his workshop to help. He got the chair together but the seat cracked because of the misalignment. Since I got these at half price we decided to just fill the crack with wood putty and use as is. I would have given the chair higher ratings had it not been for that issue. For the record, this is the only time I experienced any problems with a Melissa & Doug product.

Easy to assemble, everything lined up just right. Love the weight of it. My 2 year old can catch herself if she trips and it won't knock over the chair. It's also not so heavy that if she chose to move it, she can. It meets all of our needs, I recommend these chairs.
