Overall good with some flaws

I just received the Antique White color of this TV stand yesterday and assembled it last night. Overall, it's decent quality, but there were definitely a couple hiccups during assembly. The bottom piece was cracked and required gluing to make it less noticeable, and when adding the top piece, it would not fit on one of the dividers and we had to saw the piece down to make it fit (at least it was not visible after it was all said and done). And lastly, the photo makes the Antique White color look more off-white/distressed, but in person, it really has a more almond/yellow hue to it which is kind of disappointing. Overall not bad, but could be better with a couple small things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's gorgeous! Mostly it was easy to put together, but if you follow the instructions in order, the flip open drawer is almost impossible to screw in unless you have a very short screwdriver. The hinges should be placed way earlier in the process. Because of this, ours is still unfinished after two weeks (gotta find a shorter screwdriver) and knocks it down a star.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall happy with the product. We did assembly ourselves and it was very time consuming. Several issues during assembly: (a) Manufacturer should provide a gauge or at least specify how much of the Cam Lock Pins (part 2) should be exposed after placing them in the designated holes. If the pins are inserted too far or not enough the Cam Locks will not engage and thus will not lock. (b) Very few of the pilot holes needed for assembly were more than a slight dimple. These pilot holes need to be deep enough to get the screws started in the correct position -- we had to use an awl to make them deep enough. (c) Additionally, the pilot holes on the bottom shelf that are needed to attach the dividers (CL, CR, DL, and DR) were on the side of the wood OPPOSITE that needed for one of the dividers. In this case we had to create all new pilot holes.

Very Poor Quality Control

I read many positive reviews, but the product I received was nowhere near what some of the other reviewers wrote. This is by far one of the worse self assembly pieces I have ever purchased. When I opened the box, the face on the bottom section was not installed correctly, it was partially coming apart and nails were protruding. Fortunately I am handy with wood working so I clamped them back together with some wood glue, however I'll now need to touch up the finish from the sloppy nailing. Many parts of the finish are inconsistent and nicked or chipped. Both of these issues could not have happened in shipping. I can only attribute it to poor quality control which a third grader could have noticed. One of the side boards is slightly bowed so there is a small gap on the inside of one of the cabinets where the base and side of the cabinet connect. I am not sure what kind of wood this is, but it splits very easy. Three of the boards cracked as I was inserting the screws to assemble them (before I even tightened them up). Again, I did a little repair work to fix those. They couldn't even label all the parts correctly. The legs were mislabeled as doors and the main center section was labeled as "C" when it should have been "G". Two stars is being generous only because I can still use this in my basement rec room and I have other distressed farmhouse style furniture so this doesn't look obviously flawed. However, I would never buy this to be a showcase piece of furniture in my main living room. I am very disappointed in the quality of this purchase and there must be other much better products out there at this price point.

It’s just “Okay"

Quality control on this was marginal at best. The bottom ledger board was split apart and nailed very sloppy. It could not have happened during shipping because everything looked to be packed that way in the box. I had to glue and clamp the pieces back together overnight. The finish is was also sloppy which required me to touch up a bunch of the seams. Assembly instructions are also poorly written. There are so many parts and pieces and you have to get the middle boards in exactly the correct direction - which is very hard to see in the instructions. Overall, I have purchased much better products at this price point.
