Usb C port fried a bunch of times and I had to send it back to asus for in warranty repair. Now I'm out of warranty and my battery and usb c port is dead.

easily upgraded laptop, have since added 32GB memory card and swapped out ssd drive for a 2 TB version. Easy to do.

When I received this laptop I fell in love. It plays most games well over 60 FPS on the highest settings, and the graphics are excellent. I love the design and how it minimally makes the statement that it is a gaming laptop versus some of the overlit makes on the market. However, the honeymoon did not last long. I bought this computer in early October of 2020 and am writing this review at the end of April 2021. Within three months the GPU fan developed a rattle that has steadily turned into a grinding noise. It is to the point that I fear I need to replace the fan. I transport this computer in a hardshell case with foam interior as I wanted to protect my investment. I have not dropped, banged, or abused this computer in any way. Other reviews said the same thing about the fans and I thought people were being overly critical of the noise the fans of a high performance laptop produce. How wrong I was! Seven months in and parts are failing. So much for comprehensive cooling coverage, as was stated in the description by Asus. While the romance is still there, it dies more every time I power on my computer only to hear the grinding. If it were not for this issue I would have gladly rated this with five stars. In all other aspects this is a wonderful laptop. Asus just needs to fix their fans.

This thing needs better fans, I have replaced them myself 2 times now. I dont know if its the bearing or what that are going out but it sucks when they stop working because they are so lose.
