Great size and versatility for those of us who travel for longer periods than a long weekend and prefer a carry on solution. But where is the padded lap top sleeve and back pack straps option to provide the perfect one bag solution??? So near but yet so far!!

Best carry on out there.

I've had quite a few carry on's in my day, but none that have been as rad as this. This is the ideal bag for trips from 2 5 days. I've stuffed it full and still have been able to get it in the overhead on every flight. Even with boots, sneakers, jackets, and a weeks worth of clothes I've been able to avoid checking and even gate checking.
The split feature is key. I was on a recent trip and ended up on a Dash 8 (prop plane) for the last leg of the trip home. Instead of gate checking, I split the bag into 2 and tossed it into the overhead, to the astonishment of everyone around me. So great!
Also...you won't find a radder looking bag out there.

Versatile Travel bag but....

This is such a versatile travel bag, but it was a big miss for the designers not to include backpack straps for the outer compartment. The description of this bag advertises that it makes 2 carry on compliant pieces. Not sure how you are to carry around the outer piece without any sort of strap.

Fits 2 BASE rigs perfectly. Just wish my suit and helmet fit as well. I'll update if they let me carry it on from Denver to Zurich without a hitch.

I ordered this product in blue. I did not like the bright orange interior. It is very nice and roomy, and lots fits in it. Also, very practical that it can be split in two and the top part that can be unattached, does come with a strap. What I did not like at all, is that the handle is made of cheap plastic, like old plastic, it is very sticky. Dust and dirt get stuck to and even if I clean it, it still feels sticky. This was very cheap considering the price and brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost perfect, but...

This bag is the best option I have found to travel carry on only when you need to pack a bit more. That being said, there are a few things that I think could make it perfect. 1) the compression system like in the subterra carry on for the main compartment. 2) padded laptop sleeve in the top part of the bag. 3) optional backpack straps for the top part of the bag.

Noisy wheels

I use this bag to travel on vacation. The color makes it easy to find in a large crowd of black bags. The wheels are super annoying if you've ever had something stuck under the wheel of your grocery cart you'll get it. It picks up tiny specs of dirt and rolls terribly until you stop and get it off, then you'll get something right back on there. Some airports have square tile floors be prepared to hit every groove in every tile and listen to it as you walk almost a mile to your gate. Good luck I've found that having my headphones on blast help...
