This is a great mixer, it makes anything sound better without almost any tweak, I tested it with my two Bose S1 Pro speakers, and it sounds amazing, also I tried it with other "bad sounding" Harbinger speakers that were sounded very bad with the harbinger mixer, and it makes a huge difference, it makes the sound shine impressively, every person in the gig was impressed of the good sound it can produce. Also, it helped me a lot by improving my installation/ setup time using the scenes feature.
Missing features would be: 1) to include a Bluetooth channel as the S1 Pro integrated mixer, 2) to be able to recall volume of every channel when saving the scenes. 3) add the xlr/ plug option for the auxiliary inputs 4) allow the user to specify to what channel phantom power will be applied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the T8 about 8 months ago to replace my T1 mixer. I have been generally satisfied with the T8, mostly because now I can run mix my keyboards in Stereo. However, I have found a few flaws, 2 of them serious, which I have a hard time understanding how a leader in sound like Bose would allow these in a product. 1) MOST SERIOUS is the loud pop that happens when the unit is turned ON. Don't know what causes it, but it clearly shows on the meters, as high as 0db. The problem is that the pop sound is allowed to pass through the main outs and pops the speakers! This also happens when powering down too, but to a lesser degree. Adjusting main volume down makes no difference. Why can't Bose mute the outs for a few seconds during power up?! My T1 mixer never did this. 2) ALSO SERIOUS is the terrible, crackling distortion coming out of the Aux outs when the main level goes even just +1db above 0db. The mains do not appear to be affected. This is a huge problem when feeding auxiliary systems or recording devices. 3) The Effects Delay Mix % is very different on the T8 (about ½ for similar effect vs the T1). I've learned to "translate" my T1 settings to T8, so this is a nuisance.

I’ve been using ToneMatch since 2012 and Iam BLESSED with this Product. I use this device so much that I was hoping BOSE would release their next version with more channels and added features. With T8S mixing will be awesome yet compact with KN the move gigs. ToneMatch is so good that I hope Bose will release its 16 Channel or 32 Channel full grade mixer, and best part are the presets that has always made my setup-Olyg & Play so Easy. I’ve literally setup my entire band sound with L1 Conpact and 3 Musicians And 2 singers in less than 20 minutes, just using the presets.
Thank you BOSE. Best Wishes!

Scratch sound after continous use of 10-15 minutes

I used this mixer with a mac and 2 wireless microphones and 2 wired microphones along with two F1 812 speakers and F1 Sub woofer. It sounds amazing when it works. After 10-15 minutes of continuous use, system starts giving periodic scratch sound. It starts working again if i power off and Power On, or remove audio connections and reconnect. It repeats again after 10-15 minutes. I tried replacing cables and tried with couple of MacBook Pros.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week to accompany the L1 Model 2 and the B2 Bass Bin and couldn't be happier with it. Simply being able to run guitars direct in with no pre-amps is fantastic; a guitar and a pedal will run straight into this thing and sound fantastic. Not to mention the tone matching for the various types of guitars and mic profiles. Independent fx's across each channel, what more could you ask for. Wouldn't hesitate to snatch this off the shelf if you pondering it.

I purchase the T8S because I needed the 8 channel feature. I was very disappointed that the T8S only allows an Analog connection to the tower speaker base. My advise is to putchase the T4S and use a mixer board if you need additional channels. T8S is not worth the price tag Bose applied!
