I looked at these a dozen times and didn't buy because I already had a slow cooker and loved it. I finally decided to get one and I'm so glad I did. All of the features are fantastic and it's so nice to be able to toss everything in the pot and have a really delicious meal 20 - 30 minutes later. I love that it's not a pressure cooker! The recipes that came with it are really good and it does everything Ninja promised it would. I've paired it with the Ninja 8 in 1 Oven and haven't used my stove top or my big oven in a couple of weeks now. It's incredible!

I just love the Ninja Cooking System with Auto IQ. The first thing I made was steak fajitas. Using the layered meals option, it came out perfect. Everything I have cooked in there has been great.

PROS: It has a heavy duty cast aluminum insert, which is why I bought it. The cast aluminum insert is heavy duty and does a great job of searing meat, plus its non-stick finish is easy to clean. I have also used the insert on the stove and in the oven successfully. I have had it about a year and use it at least once a week, so it is durable. The manual controls are easy to use. I am able to pour liquids out without dribbling some onto the counter. CONS: I don't use the Auto-IQ, so that is excess. It is fairly large to store--much bigger than the oval slow cooker I replaced, even though they each hold the same maximum amount. I wish it had an insulated bag to carry it in, like my old oval slow cooker did. The insert should have heat resistant handles so that I wouldn't need hot pads to lift it out. The rack which came with it is flimsy.
