You know I bought this grill because I heard really good reviews, unfortunately it grills excellent, the problem is the food sticks so badly to the porcelain it doesn't clean well after cooking at all, including running it on high for 15 minutes after cooking before cleaning.

Excited then let down

I was very excited about this grill. The first time I went to use it I put a good coat of cooking oil on the grates to hopefully prevent sticking like the manual said. My potatoes and carrots cooked in no time at all. My tenderloin steaks stuck to the grates. I was extremely upset by this. I should not have to coat my grates or my food in oil before grilling to keep them from sticking. I don't want to have to return the grill since it is already put together and in the yard. Looking for suggestions or replacement grates from the company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I shopped for a grill. I did not want to spend a fortune. I got this one and am very impressed with it. First thing I did was season the grates. Brushed some olive oil on them and ran on high for 25 minutes. Let it cool repeated but on low. Let it cool.
Cooked some BBQ chicken the next day, perfect. I highly recommend it.
I also added the flat top piece from charbroil a few weeks later. Philly steak and cheese sandwich s turned out awesome.
Gotta season the grates and flat top before use though. That is key. I highly recommend this frill to anyone.
