Replaced our 25 year old Char-Broil with this....

And we love it! Aside from looking like a million dollars, it cooks so quickly and evenly that steaks seem to melt in your mouth. We especially like the temperature gauge and the side burner where we can easily make sauces, etc. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase and highly recommend it to others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bough this grill about a month ago in time for Memorial Day. During my BBQ, the screw from the lid came off (Mfg assembled) and the lid went lopsided while I had food on the grill in front of friends and family. I looked like a fool trying to fix the lid at 400 degrees while my food was still cooking. What a nightmare. Burner shelves already starting to rust up.

Bought this grill plus a rotessire and haven't had much luck with either. Grill doesn't get hot enough, requires constant cleaning to keep the grill holes open and long grill times with the rotessire. Wish I had purchased another type of grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall a good product. Quality is not high end but then this Performance series isn't expected to be that. The Steaks, Chicken, burgers and ribs all cook well once you figure out the temperature settings for each. The grill is cast iron and is relatively easy to clean. I anticipate changing the grill every five years or so. The Burners are a simple straight bar type design. They distribute heat vertically but with 5 burners all the grill is covered. For what I paid, more than great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very disappointed. I will not recommend to a friend. screws were missing, the grill was delivered bent, very disappointed.

First BBQ to own, huge enough to feed a whole family, heats quick and uniform. Only still have how it will survive to rust with hard weather conditions of Quebec with Char-Broil cover
