The Perfect Size

This is exactly what I was looking for for my grandson's first birthday. It is small enough for him to use now, but versatile enough that he will be able to use it for another year or two. My only wish is that I had hoped the climbing "rocks" would have stuck out a little farther and the handle wells were a little deeper. However, he is already enjoying it and I am enjoying watching him "explore".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing screws and instructions

Purchased this for my girls as a Christmas gift it came incomplete didn’t have any instructions or the screws to put it together ! Very disappointed

great size for toy room or outside

Love this castle. I have a climber who needed a safe alternative to sofa scaling and chair acrobatics at one year of age. This helped re-direct to a safer alternative. We added rubber exercise mats under our castle, which we have placed in our home on wood floor. It has been used daily since purchase. It has been used as a castle, boat, dog house, play ground, etc. obviously great for little imaginations.Getting the slide to lock in was a bit of a challenge initially, however set up was less then 20 minutes.

Toy's light weight creates instability

I gave it as a gift, think it is good for small toddlers. I don't recommend purchase for children over age two due to instability (toy may move) and toy size is small, child will quickly outgrow. Would recommend with reservation "toy says 1 - 4yrs" disagree, more like 1 - 2.5yrs.

This item was purchased for my 1 year old granddaughter. I have owned multiple little tykes toys while my children were growing up and they all survived 4 children with no wear and tear. I always go back to little tykes when purchasing for my grandchildren.

Great way to burn some energy

My son plays on this slide every single day. He got it for his first birthday and has loved it ever since. It is so durable and sturdy and holds up great to the unpredictable Pittsburgh weather (rain, snow, sun, wind, hail.) This looks as good as the day we got it. It's so versatile in that it offers "rock climbing" instead of a ladder, and they are able to climb under the slide to play or hide. It's small enough that we can bring it in when the weather is cruddy and use it in our house. I have no complaints about the slide and would highly recommend it!

Not what was expecting

I always love Little Tike products but this is the first one that does not seem age accurate. My granddaughter is one and a half and this slide is way to small and unstable for her to play with. More like for ages 1-2, at the most; surely not ages 1-4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OKAY but Don't Love it

This is a neat concept; however wish it had steps and not the rock climbing to get onto slide; I am always afraid my granddaughter is going to fall. I Purchased this for her first birthday in Aug 2014 and she is now 18 months old and still sometimes bumps her head when sliding down. In addition the sides are not study; again I am right there in case she might trip or fall to catch her. would not recommend this and will not purchase again; I have 8 grandchilderen and will not pass this toy to my youngest who was born last November.
