Grandson loved this! Unfortunately,.....

My grandson loved playing with this. The cannon pops off easily and water leaks into the bottom. We did like a previous review, drilled small holes for the water to drain. We purchased it for his 1st birthday and before his 2nd birthday the water pump quit working. (3 days prior to be exact) He was so disappointed. He remembered that water ran when he pushed the little button. His birthday is June 3rd. We got it out Memorial Day party and the pump didn't work. They did not honor warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love it, but no umbrella

My 2 year old loves this toy we have added ball pit balls to it for the cold days, but when it is hot she also loves to splash away. This toy keeps her entertained for hours. My only question is does this toy come with an umbrella or I'm i suppose to purchase separate? Please do let me know, the reason i'm asking is that the toys r us add shows a really cute white and red umbrella.

Great summer toy

Got for my 2 year old grandson ,was easy to put together and hours of lots of fun . Will be buying another one for my granddaughter. comes with toys to play with and is very strong and sturdy to put up with the little ones banging it around .

The table itself is durable and interesting. The plastic water cannon easily detaches from the table and has an extremely weak water stream. A sturdier method of attachment would have been better. The table itself leaks water into the internal section of the table. I drilled two small holes underneath to allow water to drain from this area. The children love it and it holds their attention for very long periods of time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just OK cannon does not work

The cannon would not work. We called them and they sent a new one. This one does not work. We noticed air comes out the bottom of the tube when the button is pushed. If the cannon end is placed in water and the button pushed water squirts out the hose. The mechanism seems to be backwards in the cannon. Waiting a fix. Not sure how long it will take for the kids to get bored with it.

I paid full price for this which if you know me, you would know thats very rare. I am glad to see they switch to a hand pump because my motor died twice in my ship. The first one died within two weeks and they send a replacement that died in two months- water and batteries don't mix. For the people saying the plug leaks- it's NOT IN ALL THE WAY. The plug should not leak but you have to have inhuman superpowers to get it in all the way. I complained about it leaking and my husband forced it in better and it stopped. (you'll know its in correctly if you can not remove it- I mean it will not budge!) I did not have the hand power to get it in correctly. It should actually come already set in instead of having the buyer tried to push it in, I am just not that strong!! Other then the sun fading the base held up well but the blank just snapped off one day (she is 4 so not the much pressure) leaving a great jagged piece. I wish these pieces screwed in and stead of popping in- now I have to fiddle with getting this death plank out. The toys have ALL faded and chipped which I understand it's a outside water toy but I was still annoyed since I took the time to take them out- dry them and put them away each time. It lasted a good solid two years but the third year was just it- it's completely falling apart now. I am cheap so I didn't think that was a great amount of time, I was hoping this would last through both my kids or I think I would have bought the cheaper ghetto brand one. I took the time to put this away each winter and make sure it was always clean and dry, didn't really help make it last.

Bought this to have at our home when our grandchildren come and visit. They were here over the weekend and had a blast. Very sturdy.

Purchased for our 2 1/2 year old son. The water cannon detaches very easily but he had no trouble operating it. The spinners on the mast were a selling feature for us but sadly, the streams of water from the pump hardly spin them, if at all. Also the pump pumps water as you are pumping but it doesn't keep water flowing when you stop. The finger spinners that create a current are neat. And the little pirates and scoops are a nice extra. The installation of the drain plug was annoyingly difficult and it does not stay plugged well. Little tykes needs to redesign some features. At $100 Canadian I expected the features to work!
