not worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this clip as a replacement for the one that came with the headphones (broke). The new design for that clip is even more worse than the one which comes with the headphones. I don't know what BOSE was thinking when the updated teh design of the clip. Total waste of money. Now it's more difficult to keep the loop in the clip without suffering. DON'T BUY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had to replace this thing twice since I got my headphones a year ago. The first time because it fell off (it doesn't stay on well) and now because it broke. While It's needed so the headphone cord doesn't smack the back of my neck when I'm running, wish it was made better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve purchases 3 replacement clips in the past year and a half of owning these headphones. Love the headphones but the clip is necessary when running to keep the strap in place but the clips are simply not durable. Typically break in the process of attaching to the strap. Thankfully they are inexpensive to replace, just annoying and disappointing to have to regularly do so.

Soundsport headphones work great, but after only 2 months of light use this clip broke. I find it frustrating that I have to buy another one so soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like everyone else, I have broken multiple clips. I refuse to continue to pay for terribly designed products. For premium priced headphones, I do not expect to have this issue. Sell them in packs of 20 and call them disposable.

Poor Durability Ruins a Good Product

I purchased the SoundSport headphones about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed them. However, this clip is very frustrating. I often wear the headphones with one earbud in at work, using the clip to support the other earbud not in use. When the clip works, it's great. Unfortunately, I found that the wire is prone to slipping out of the clip, especially if the headphones are in your jacket pocket. That is how I lost the original clip that came with the headphones. So I bought another clip, and made the same mistake of putting them in my pocket again (a reasonable place for headphones IMO). This time, after only about 3 months of having the clip, the clip cracked upon extraction from my pocket, and eventually broke a couple of days later after I continued trying to use it (see attached image).
In summary, the clip is great when it works, but is broken or falls off too easily, especially for a higher end product from one of the leaders in the headphone industry. I am very happy with the headphones, but very disappointed in this accessory.

I'm about to be on my 4th one of these and I'm not hard on them at all so it completely amazes me that they keep breaking.
