I bought this to do some printing and then scanning of classroom papers for my university courses. I like to write handwritten comments - and when I travel, it always is a problem. Before I left on my trip, I set the printer/scanner up and was all set to go. But on the trip, with different wireless setups, moving around from hotel to hotel, it was impossible to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in a small NYC apartment; this is a perfect all-in-one! It packs easy and does simple, easy tasks (printing and scanning) quick and efficiently and happy w/the HP quality. Set-up was very simple and straightforward, the demos on the printer are so helpful. I primarily use this with my PC and have fast WiFi, so all set there. Highly recommend for a light tasks. Not sure yet how the costs of ink yet will run me, but not too worried about it yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I had problems with my old printer. It is next to my laptop (less than a year old) and the one time I was able to connect, it worked great. Unfortunately that was the only time I was able to connect as I keep getting the message on my computer that the printer is not turned on. I will try to hook it up to my computer by wire but this defeats the purpose of a portable printer as well as paying a higher price for convenience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can accomplish much in a small package. Will do just about all, originally selected this because of it portability, use of same cartridge as my home unit and would be able to carry on the road with us while traveling. Does all of this , only draw back is the ability to print on both side- it does this but you have to print odd then even pages. Which is not a big game changer for on road use. Plus is can be charged up and AC is not required.
Solid printer, quieter, much faster, and sleeker than the earlier version of this printer. I haven't yet used the all-in-one features. Set-up so far has been easy. I use this purely as a portable printer for running chess tournaments at hotels and haven't set up Wi-Fi yet, although I intend to with a portable router where I create my own subnet.
