Beautiful Kitchen!

I was a bit worried about this kitchen, when I was assembling it the material felt fragile. I afraid one small bump and it would crack or snap. My toddler did bump it and was really worried, but it held up. It took about two hours to assemble, which includes having to screw and unscrew the bottom twice to get the slide in shelf in correctly. I have two complaints 1. The baseboard came damaged, I am waiting to hear from Melissa & Doug about a replacement. 2. The microwave does not latch, it seems like the holes for the latch are off. The other doors moderately latch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Grandparents bought this for our daughter for Christmas...she hasn't seen or played with it yet but seems like a good product...I didn't read all of the reviews so if this is a repeat I apologize, but after you lay all your pieces out, I highly recommend skipping to step 24 and installing your 6 metal hinge brackets for the doors before doing anything else...why this step is so far into the installation is behind me...can barely see the holes let alone get a good angle/grip for your screwdriver with it all put together...other than that I'm sure my daughter will enjoy it greatly...
I would recommend this to a friend!

So disappointing

So disappointing! This is not a typical Melissa and Doug product. Many of the pieces are very cheap and not made well. Many of the pieces did not fit. Finally my husband and I gave up after many many hours. Unfortunately as excited as we were to have this for our granddaughter it is going back. Perhaps Melissa and Doug need some better quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We ordered this for our daughter for Christmas and in less than a month it's damaged. She tripped and her elbow hit the oven door and it cracked. Didn't think hhh that the materials would be so fragile. She loves playing with it, but I hate that it already looks worn in. It's right where the door handle is and with further use the handle will fall off.

Pieces with improper dimensions/ fit.

I purchased this kitchen for my 4 year old daughter and we are long time Mellisa and Doug fans. Still are. Only problem.. assembly. Piece D was missing some of the holes the screws go through . So we have been unable to assemble. I'm praying that once we get that remedied , there are no more problem or potentially missing pieces .

Disappointing construction.

My daughter loves the kitchen however we have had it for less than a year and every time she opens any of the doors they fall off. I have contacted about replacing parts and have received no response. We have given up putting the doors back on especially for the fridge. Also the wood is very soft and the smallest knock adds a dent or chip. Love Melissa and Doug products and this kitchen is very disappointing.

Very disappointed!!!! Went through the whole assembly and discovered it was missing the top piece!!!! Cant attach the microwave or freezer door!! Very unhappy!!!!!!! Not a great Christmas present idea. Better open and check the box before disappointment hits on Christmas day!!!
