I am appalled by the people upset about this not being a white doll. As a white mom living in the South, I love that there are more inclusive options available - I want my little boy to be caring and empathetic toward ALL people, not just those who look like him.

I'm so disheartened by the reviews that speak of being disappointed that a caucasian child was gifted a darker-skinned doll. If you don't see the joy in them learning of inclusion and that children come from different backgrounds, that's a real shame. I guarantee they have no shortage of representation of caucasian children all around them, it's good that they are learning of different ethnicities. My child is mixed-race (half Indian) so I struggle with the lack of representation of people of colour in books, toys, TV shows, etc. This doll is wonderful and I really appreciate that she was an option to purchase. Thank you, truly, for that. It means more to my child than you know. Also terrific quality and very "huggable" which is perfect.

A very brown doll, not like picture. I had to return it, there would be too much confusion among her young siblings, peera at church, etc. We are a very inclusive family, but this would not work. M&D has been out of the Jenna doll.

Online it looked like a white baby......ends up being Hispanic. When asking Customer Service about the doll they had to ask several people before saying Hispanic. I asked could they help me with ordering Jenna and I was told NO. I'm trying to figure out how to return the other doll. The shipping charges on both dolls is going to cost me the price of one doll.
