A good way to test the water without committing to a ballpit

I try and pull this out for days where we need to switch it up. My husband wanted to buy a large ball pit for my sons birthday and I'm glad we started small. He's still warming up to it and the extra things on the turtle like the tags, zipper pulls, crinkle fins, and the mirror help entice him to come over.
