We play with the tabletop easel all day long. She loves drawing her dinosaurs and elephants on both siders. My granddaughter knows the alphabet so when I ask for a certain letter she will get that letter and put it on.

We were very excited for our 5 year old to open this at Christmas. He couldn't wait to use it and opened to find it broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
