[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Maytag MDB7979SHZ top control dishwasher and had it installed a week ago. So far I’m very pleased! So quiet and dishes as well as glasses are sparkling clean and dry! I find that this washer fits so many more dishes, glassware, pots and pans than my old washer even though they are the same size!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a used house and these old sears dishwasher went bad. Our other house has a Maytag dishwasher and in seven years never had a problem. We also like not having a filter to clean like others. The best part is a 10 year warranty and USA made.

Quiet, Hardworking, Wonderful Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher last month to replace our leaky, non-drying 6-year-old monster. It was like night and day. First of all, the water actually drains out of the bottom of the dishwasher and the dishes come out clean and dry the first time. Second of all, it is so quiet that you can't hear it running. I love the silverware tray and the adjustable shelves. The food chopper at the bottom is a must!
All in all, probably the best dishwasher we have ever owned.

Cleans well but breaks a lot

We bought this series dishwasher a couple years back. All the racks brake apart. The ball bearing fall out of the slide rails and you have to take the bottom disposal to get them out. The wheels fall off the bottom rack. Basically every year you have to replace parts on these. Sure they clean but I'm sure other dishwashers clean as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Selection of Options and Very Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the dishwasher about 1 month ago. It is very quiet when running and we like the different wash options that it has. I like the fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish and it looks good in the kitchen with our other stainless steel appliances. The trays are very similar to the Jenn-Air dishwasher that it replaced. We really like the silverware tote and that it is located on the side of the bottom tray. Our old unit had the silverware tote in the front and the knives would touch the stainless steel tub door leaving marks in the door. Very nice dishwasher for the price!

SUPER QUIET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet I keep checking to see if it’s really on! We have loaded without rinsing, and after 2.5 days between loads that food gets really dried on, but they come out sparkling with NO food on them. It loads well using all the space for lots of stuff, and I love the silverware basket with the slots to keep things separated. Best investment!
