If you're going to spend over a thousand dollars on a phone, then it's worth buying the best case you can, and as far as I can tell that's what I've done.
I'd highly recommend these cases to anyone.
My only gripe, and it's nothing to do with the case, is that I wish it came with a matching screen protector (latest Gorilla Glass perhaps), that fit with the case bezel. For the price, such an inclusion is justified and would simplify the process of finding one to perfectly fit.

Returning. Although the case is well made and I'm sure would be useful protection against falls, it does not permit wireless charging from the pixel stand as advertised. If you do a ritual and sacrifice a goat and position it perfectly it may charge for a few seconds before losing that magical connection, but that sort of defeats the purpose.

Disappointing.... It will not charge wirelessly with either of my wireless chargers. I specifically bought this because it said it would work with the new pixel wireless charger. It initially connects and starts charging and then stops. That is disappointing. I have read other reviews stating the same. I have also read reviews that says it does work. Not sure why.
It does fit nicely and provide plenty of protection as you would expect from an OtterBox but no wireless charge is a deal breaker for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The case is excellent quality and has all ready saved my phone from a drop on pavement. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the defender series for the Pixel XL came with a front screen guard and this model case did not. Otherwise than that, once again, it's a great case and I'll continue buying OtterBox cases in the future.

First place I looked for a case was with Otterbox, I wanted good protection and a cover for the USB port to keep it debris. I looked else where just to see what was available but nothing else compares.
The only flaw is I wish they would have incorporated a screen protector or at least made one for purchase. I picked up the invisible sheild glass +. It stays attached but doesn't quite fit the screen, no fault of Otterbox, just some helpful info.

I have had the Defender series before and loved the durability. So when I got my new phone I ordered a new cover right away..(store didn't have any). Would buy again. Only one negative...for the Google Pixel 3xl there are only two color choices, black or a tealish blue. Can you offer purple soon?
