After having an Otterbox case or my Pixel for over 2 years, I was excited to get a new one. Unfortunately, it is not what I expected. I know the name of the product has "screenless" in it, but the description on the website is unclear and the pictures on the website make it look like there is some sort of screen protection. I just don't understand this product or why there is no option for a case with a screen protector built into the Otterbox. To be fair, I haven't used the product yet, but have been unhappy since I opened the box and have been debating sending it back...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling so disappointed in the Pixel 3 Defender series! The decision to forego the built-in screen protector on this version was intentionally made in order to offer complete access to the device display. We predicted that any sort of integrated shield could cause some hindrance with touch sensitivity, which is not the seamless experience that we want for our customers.
While the Defender is still just as protective as ever, if your heart is set on a little additional peace of mind, we would suggest taking a peek at our Amplify Screen Protector - this glass adds a layer of fortified security, and should fit perfectly with the Defender.
