Received the Otterbox for my new phone last week and couldn't be happier. I had one for my old phone, Motorola Droid Max and was so impressed with the protection of the Defender Series case that I had to get one for my new Google Pixel 3.

The case is wonderful. Easier to get on and off than the symmetry case. The flaw is if you try to use a zagg screen protector (this doesn't come with a screen protector), it will prevent the screen protector from staying properly adhered. It broke my first zagg protector. I use my phone for light photography that requires removing the case, so I do want to keep the screen as safe as possible when the case comes off, so the defender case didn't end up working for me.

Didn't realise the screen cover had been removed. Reason I've bought this cover in the past is because of dropping it and the screen landing on a rock and cracking

Love OtterBox just wish it had some other options

I'm happy with my purchase but I wish the defender Case had the option not to purchase the belt attachment. Also I feel the case should come with a screen protector. I know OtterBox says it doesn't need it but I find that hard to believe. I had to buy a screen protector once I got my case as the screen is not protected enough.

I have put an OtterBox product on every one of my cell phones and my iPad for as long as I can remember.
They made a switch to a screenless product for the next Pixel phones. I assume it is because the Pixel 3 now has a squeeze function, of which I am also opposed.
I hope OtterBox ends the screenless type and reinstitutes the screen cover into the build.
Other than no screen protection, I've always been a fan of OtterBox and would like to be a fan again.
Add the screen protection.

I love otter boxes but this is by far the least hearty. I don't understand why it doesn't come with a screen protector. That is the most vulnerable part of the phone. For the price it should really cover the whole phone. I like the color and grip but I'm probably going to g to end up getting a different case that is kid and life proof.
