doesn't last; can't easily replace battery

I had high hopes for this speaker. It has great sound and is very small and portable. I also like the daisy-chaining feature. Unfortunately, mine lasted for less than a year before it wouldn't recharge anymore. I bought a new usb micro cable to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't. I assume it must be lithium ion battery. I can't find any information about how to replace the battery. The bluetooth system and associated led functionality is not intuitive, and I found that it did not work consistently with my computer, only with my iPhone. Can't recommend it, especially at the somewhat exorbitant price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Won't connect to my Mac

This thing is great to use with my iPhone, and to tell you the truth, I generally use it to turn my other larger speakers into bluetooth speakers... the most annoying thing is that it won't allow my Mac to connect through bluetooth... is there any way to fix this? My mac says to revert to the instruction manual of the product but there is very little info there and there is no info on this site apparently!
Can anyone help?

Short Life

Went through 2 of them since 01/2013, works great sounds real good it only last 3 months .
Bought from Best Buy now they discontinued it. so something must be wrong for them to do that. I would by it again after Jbl find out why it has a short life

This little Bluetooth speaker has been the best portable speaker I've ever invested my money on. It's small and easy to use, easy to setup and the sound quality is great! I've connected it to my phone, iPad and laptop and I've never had an issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Buy, Not Too Expensive, Awesome Quality and Totally Portable

So I bought this today at the Apple Store. I checked it out a while ago because I wanted a speaker for my bathroom when I'm getting ready for work and I don't want my iPad or iPhone in the bathroom with me. I didn't want to spend $100 so I had someone demo it for me and I was sold. Turned it up and it was able to hold it's own in the crowded room. I can also see myself traveling with it for use in my hotel room and even to watch movies with to enhance the sound.
I read a review about not being able to pair it with a mac laptop and I had no trouble. In addition to pairing it with the computer, you must also select or choose where you want your computer's sound to come from since it does have it's own internal speakers. Just Option-Click the Speaker icon on the Menu Bar or go to the Sound section of your System Preferences and choose JBL Micro Wireless Stereo as the Output Device. You can even charge it by plugging it into your computer. No problem...
Love it and won't need anything else for a long while. Actually thinking about getting one more to make a stereo set! No complaints over here!

Great Sound Quality

I just received my JBL speaker as part of a accessory package with my new cell phone. It took all of a minute to connect to the speaker using Bluetooth. And when I turned the volume knob up, I was totally surprised at the volume and the crystal clear sound that came out of this little speaker. I plan on adding several more as you can chain them together. I can't wait to hear how it will sound with many of them.

Bluetooth stop working on the second day.

I received it as bday gift from my sister. I used only once the wifi and it worked great, but in the second time it stop working. I always see the positive side of everything, so Im glad it still working with the cable...

Battery doesn't charge
