Cute toy with some flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids just loved playing with this adorable puppy, but it often needs lots of patience and proper distance when getting it to respond to commands. Sometimes it works great from a distance, though mainly works everytime when you're up close. It also has a "special setting" when you put the bone in its mouth and it makes it speak english that is admittedly very hard to trigger. I've owned this toy for about a month and a half, and have successfully triggered this feature twice. Battery power can be poor (and tricky when replacing them) with longtime play, yet it isn't too much of a real issue when the puppy turns itself off on its own after a few minutes of inactivity. Overall, still a nice ideal gift to your kids that isn't too difficult with a little practice. Or a decent introductory toy if they're (or for adults) new to robotic pets.
