fun with my 5 year old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is something you can have hours of fun and frustration with a very young kid. the guns and the receivers work well. be sides being fun and enjoyable i have two gripes.
A. the reset of the unit after the 6 hits is under the receiver. annoying ,to stick hand under unit to turn unit off and back on. annoying not hard though.
b. playing with my 5 year old, if he didnt extend his arm to shoot me he would "shoot him self", so his unit would go off with out me even shooting at him.

Great Gift for Kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for a 6 year old boy who loves foam dart guns hoping it would be a big hit. While the 6 year old LOVED it there are a couple of issues. First the straps are huge, this was expected since it's for ages 8+, but we just used safety pins to make it fit. The second issue is make sure you include batteries because it will be played with immediately- 10 AA for the set. So far we haven't had to replace batteries but we have only had it a week.
Playing with it is simple and my son loves it. We have noticed it is possible to hit your own chest plate so be careful when aiming. My son doesn't seem to mind and loves to play this outside with a friend at dusk to see it light up. The accuracy of the game I think is hit or miss, so I would recommend it for younger kids despite the size of the chestplate straps. Older kids seem more frustrated with the accuracy, younger kids seem happy to just run and try to tag their opponent.
Overall this is a great toy that entertains for hours! It makes a great gift to get your kids outside and running and laughing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this game a few weeks ago for my oldest sons (6&7) and they love it, great quality and and it's so much fun to play. My husband and I even played a few rounds, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed it too. It's really fun! I highly recommend it for older kids and for adults!

I would say it will be ok but not to where a child would really enjoy it as the packaging say. It comes with 2 guns and a vest that one person wears.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image two-player laser tag set is a good idea but, it’s not what I expected. The two gun/targets keeps the kids occupied but can use some improvements. We noticed that sometimes when shooting at your opponent the targets on both kids will register a hit. In addition when playing outside the targets dont register hits on each other. However if you use this set indoors they register hits pretty good but still sometimes hits both of the kids targets! Unfortunately this set also requires 10 batteries to operate. If your looking to keep the kids occupied this will do it. If you also looking to keep good scoring and outdoor play I don’t think this is the right set for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this laser tag. It’s very responsive, lights up with vibration. Kids have though-roughly enjoyed running around day and night. They really like playing it In the dark with the flashing lights and all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is super fun to play, especially outside at night. I love the infared laser beams and how long the can go up to. The chest plate is an awesome feature too. I love that it can keep count of hits and that it vibrates. My whole family loves to play whether were inside or outside.
