Perfect for train lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fao Schwarz train set is so fun! It comes with four trains- an engine that has a light and little bell, a boxcar with sliding doors, passenger car and caboose. The train has sound which is really great and the kids love it but it also has the no sound option for quiet nights. With 30 track pieces you can make a long track or short track! The train itself when it goes is not too loud and goes at a nice speed. We like this train very much and can’t wait to place it under the Christmas tree.

My kids love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so this train is a great size it's not a small rinky dink one like you see around the holidays at most stores. Each train car is probably around 10-12' long and then 3-4" high. My kids sit and watch this for hours on end. The ability to turn the sound on on off while it is running is a great function that keeps us all happy. It also has a few led lights that light up. Now what I don't love is the track. It is kind of flimsy. Just moving it to clean very gently it snapped and several of the ends of the track have broken. I was able to piece them together with electrical tape though and it did not effect the function of the train at all. You'd like to think my kids were rough but they have not touched it. In addition one of the pieces that lets them link cars was broken off when we received it and it was packaged very well so I do attribute it in the plastic. That being said in comparison to other trains you'll find this time of year this one is considerably better and I would still recommend purchasing it.

Fantastic train set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This train set is awesome and perfect for Christmas time. I am planning to put mine around our tree once I put it up. My girls love it, especially my 5 year old since she loves trains. Comes with plenty of tracks, curved and straight, easy to put together. Has the locomotive, passenger car, box car and caboose, they attach very easily and go on the tracks perfectly. The train has a switch to turn it on with noise or without, we like the train sounds, but the option to turn them off is a nice addition. Overall it is a gorgeous set and any train lover will be pleased.

So Much Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this train set from FAO Schrawz. It truly is fun for the whole family. My husband grew up playing with trains with his father, so this was very nostalgic with him to have this. My five year old daughter is fascinated with the train light and pressing the button to hear the horn. Trains have always been a big part of my life since I live so close to the largest rail yard in California. This train provides hours of entertainment for all of us and I look forward to continued play!

Is very realistic, it comes with the locomotive,passanger car,box car,caboose and 20 ft of rail track. Operates with 6 AA bateries and has the advantage of working with sound or without it. This is a must have toy because kids are entertain playing with it . Is very easy to assemble and the parts are hard to break, very durable. I put this train in the floor around my christmas tree and looks very beautyful as decoration. The lights and sounds are incredible fascinating. I highly recomend buyin this for your family because comes from a trustable brand and brings happyness and joy to the whole family from the moment is been assembled.

He was able to put the tracks together. It is a very good way to keep the kids busy, they can play with it during hours .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This train set is huge! It is a larger scale than other trains I own. The tracks are made of plastic and clip together mostly alright; you have to go back through and make sure they're closed together once you're done assembling the track. The train has a working light and also has two settings for sounds when it's on. You can have no sounds or with sounds. We like it running with sounds. The cargo trailer has doors that you can slide open and closed. My daughter likes giving her small figures a ride in the open wagon. Overall this is a nice train set, just much larger scale than I had imagined. Runs on batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son absolutely loves this train set. He can pretty much do everything himself setting it up. It is a little fragile which I was concerned with, but seems to be fine. It is bigger then I would have thought also.
