[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this is great to capture the minds of kids just be prepared to answer their questions. So this requires three batteries it build quality is quite study as my son dropped it and it did not break which was a pleasant surprise. At night in my kids room I turned this on had the cosmos planets and moons projected on the ceiling which they loved and insisted I keep it on as their night light. Overall this is a great product to get kids introduced and interested in our universe and planet and get those little gears turning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little space projector is really cool! We had a great time going through all the slides and talking about fun astronomy facts. This is a fantastic toy for any kid who’s in to the solar system. I love toys that make teaching science a fun experience, and this does exactly that. It is really easy for any age to set up and use. And the rotating star projector is a really cool bonus!

Cool Idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is dual sided, with one side projecting stars that rotate around, and the other side a projector that works with the 3 discs included with the product. The Planetarium Projector comes preassembled, which is really nice, the only thing you need to do is add 3 "AA" batteries.
When using the projection side, it is good to know that the discs will only fit in one way. The center pin of the disc has one side that has a small pin, and the other side has a larger pin. Make sure the small pin is on the top when inserting the disc, otherwise, it will not fit in properly. It does allow you to focus the projection, which is a nice feature, so you can do it in any sized room. The images are great, and everyone loved how they looked. The only problem was there is no identification of what the pictures are showing. The planets are easy, since we all know those, however there were quite a few of the other images that I didn't know what they were. I guess that means it takes some time to research the images, which for some will be fun, for others means more work.
Like I mentioned earlier, the other side of the Planetarium Projector, projects rotating stars onto the ceiling. This feature is really cool, and my favorite aspect of the toy, however, it still has it's flaws. Depending on the room size and height, it projects differently. We first tried it in our family room, which has a vaulted ceiling that goes from 9 feet to 14 feet. The higher the vault was, the more out of focus it was. The other room we tried it in was a bedroom with an 8 foot ceiling. The stars showed on the ceiling and the walls, which was nice. I did wish there was a way to focus the stars, because they seemed a bit blurry, which was a little disappointing. The motor that rotates the stars 360 degrees does make a little noise, but nothing that felt too distracting. The rotating of the stars worked smoothly for about 3/4 of the rotation, while the other 1/4 of the rotation it would make a loud clicking sound and instead of a smooth rotation, it was very jerky and distracting. This issue with the rotation happened at the same point, and despite trying to move the position of the Planetarium Projector, it did not change or fix the problem.
This toy would be great for any kids learning about the stars or solar system. While the projector aspect is cool, with only 3 discs, it will stop getting used pretty quickly. The rotating stars is the coolest part of this toy, I just wish it rotated smoothly and had a focusing aspect like the projector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this and my son and husband love it! They will lay on the bed and look up at all the planets and talk about them. We also love to fall asleep with the stars on. It's super easy to use and change the discs that come with them. Then all you have to do is flip it over and get the stars! It will auto turn off after 30 minutes so it doesn't waste the battery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this toy. We gave it to a 7 year old boy for a birthday gift and he was excited to receive it. It's a lot of fun but also very educational. It uses the STEM style learning that I feel is very helpful in a child's learning process. Great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three children love this toy space and planetarium projector. This projector is very simple to operate and comes already assembled plus it has instructions with photos and a cool activity poster for kids to learn and make homemade craters. Make sure you have three AA batteries for this projector because they are not included. It comes with three interchangeable disks that have 24 photo slides total so you have lots of images of planets, constellations, galaxies and more. The motorized projector rotates stars automatically. The pivoting projector shines stars and planets onto your walls and ceilings. You can see the stars on one side of the projector and space on the other side. The switch in the middle allows you to change between the stars, space and to turn it off when not in use. The orange legs give the projector support and hold it up and they can be rotated to each side when you switch between them. This is a really fun and unique projector that is very well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this for my 10 year old daughter to use in her room. It was quick and easy to set up and she began using it in our TV room. Our 6 month old puppy was in the room and is now OBSESSED with chasing the different patterns on the floor and walls! It is so fun!
